Adult Confirmation Class

Wednesdays: 6:00pm-7:00pm

Join us for an opportunity to learn the basics of following Jesus from the Bible (as

explained in Martin Luther’s Small Catechism)

Who is it for? Everyone who is interested. This is an ideal time to refresh your

learning about Jesus (especially if you were confirmed as a young person).

For those who have never been officially confirmed, this class can lead to the rite of

confirmation this Fall for those who choose. Come and grow in your relationship with God!

September 17 What Does GOD Want with Me? (the Gospel)

September 24 God our Father tells sons & daughters about Himself (Creed)

October 1 How We Can Live without Fear (Confession & Forgiveness)

October 8 Talking to God our Father (the Lord’s Prayer)

October 15 Why We Need to be Adopted (the Fall into Sin)

October 22 Being Adopted (Baptism)

October 29 How to Know the Father’s Will (10 Commandments)

November 5 God’s sons & daughters are Fed (Holy Communion)

November 12 Living as a Family (the Church)

November 19 Looking Forward to the Family Reunion (end of life, end of the world)

November 26 (catch up week, if needed)
